The photo doesn’t really capture the length of the motorhome, and how little space there is to navigate, but you can get an idea. If I’m there again I’m gonna try and take one from a better angle

This is what I am wondering also.

I don’t know, my best guess is that they reversed with one of the rear wheels in the air after it crested the slope, and then jacked up the front in what I assume was a super-sketchy fashion, and then put blocks under it. I don’t even see that working though, so who knows

That’s the closest thing to actual dark magic I think I’ve ever seen.

Wow. A parking situation like that would have been a dealbreaker for me; I wouldn’t have even attempted something like this. I’d have been faced with packing up and moving elsewhere, or storing the motorhome and boat off-site, or selling those toys altogether.

I always love trying to guess what headlights, grill, or tail-lights motorhomes stole. I am definitely seeing 80s era Jeep in this front end!

Yeah no kidding, same here. I’m impressed they made it work, but also confused

It’s such an odd shape to even put blacktop on in the first place. Even parking normal cars there must be a pain (I see that truck just downhill). This looks like some old back alley that was never really designed to accommodate modern traffic or parking needs.

It is, parts of the alley aren’t paved, and it doesn’t even follow the same angle as the road. On the right hand side, most of the garages or car ports are on shored up foundations on the side of the hill, or on posts at the far end, with the roofs of houses being about the height of the alley.

North Van has some weird roads and lanes, due to steep hills and old infrastructure

I like that it has a Jeep-duh front end. I wonder if its trail rated

Yeah the whole situation is quite something

Also, imagine the body flex of that thing while backing it in there. Like, were cabinets inside exploding? Doors opening or twisting out of their frames? I can only imagine the noises that made.
